We understand and respect the wildlife species that inhabit the trees and surrounding habitat in which we work. Prior to work commencing, we conduct a habitat survey to ensure that birds, bats, plants and other wildlife are protected.
Machinery, fuel oils and pesticides
We use bio-degradable fuel and oil in all of our chainsaws and machines to minimise any possible pollution and contamination to wildlife, watercourses and the surrounding habitat.
Naturally, we will remove all debris caused by the work, (100% of which will be recycled) unless you wish us to leave it with you. Some clients prefer to have logs, chippings or use debris to create a habitat in their garden for insects and wildlife.
Wood chip
All resulting green waste by-products and wood chips are processed to produce compost by local recycling businesses. We can supply wood chip that is suitable for paths, animal bedding, water retention, erosion and compaction in soil, and can also help suppress weed growth. Please call for details.
Logs for sale
All of our logs are sourced locally from woodland management thinning and urban maintenance, which are then processed and sold locally as usable firewood. Please call for details.
Pests and diseases
We can identify pests and diseases and advise on appropriate courses of action.
